Shipping will be in a custom, reinforced parcel with protection for the face of the painting and support for both the back and front of the art from zip code 98508, Olympia, Washington

Art can also be picked up by the buyer or the buyer's agent and we will also delivery to local addresses.   If the buyer wishes to use their own shipping account we will be glad to delivery to their shipping agent. 

If we arrange shipment the costs for packaging and transport of this  painting will be between $125.00 and $150.00.

Item Number:  101

Subject:  A realistic depiction of the ruins of a stone structure with high stone chimney over a moat.  Painted in values of grey and neutral hues, dominance of cool hues in a night scene with moonlight.  Actual location is one mile west of Glen Ellen, California in the Valley of the Moon. 

Condition:  Surface is excellent with only one pinpoint size loss of paint in the upper center of canvas; colors are consistent and clean and the canvas is tight.

Medium:  Oil on canvas on stretcher bars

Signature & Labels:  Signed lower left in red paint, V. Shkurkin. Label in upper right of back says Wolf House by V. Shkrukin and indicates value of $225.00 in artist's handwriting.   

Size:  29.75 inches X 39.75 inches (1183 square inches)

Framing:  Unframed with cardboard mounted on back of canvas. 

Date: Undated on painting but dated September 1965 in artist's catalog on back of a photograph of the painting and on an accompanying page in artist's handwriting. 

Exhibits History:  September 1965 Vallejo Art Festival; August 1065 Glen Ellen Art Festival;  May 1966 Sonoma Plaza; February 1966 Vallejo Stationers.  All in California.
