McDougal Falls Shipping is via United Parcel Service (UPS) and all shipments must be insured for at least the purchase value and may be insured for the appraised value at the discretion of the buyer. Shipping will be in a custom, reinforced parcel with protection for the face of the painting and support for both the back and front of the art from zip code 98508, Olympia, Washington Art can also be picked up by the buyer or the buyer's agent and we will also delivery to local addresses. If the buyer wishes to use their own shipping account we will be glad to delivery to their shipping agent. Title McDougal Falls (Glacier National Park Subject: Waterfall descending over rocks; tree on right, very animated, curling brushwork, impasto handling throughout. There is significant detail and precision in this work with theatrical handling of the light reflections on the rushing water adding drama to the natural scene. Condition: Very good, glowing surface, firm canvas which is loose in frame. Medium: Oil on canvas Signature & Labels: Signed lower right in red paint with artists label on back Size: 28 inches by 36 inch (1008 square inches) in and 29 X 37 inch frame Framing: 3/4 inch by 1.25 inch deep wood slat molding with brown stain. 1/4 inch wide flat gold metal band runs along top of molding. Corners appear sprung on gold trim strip atop molding, but may be intentional as a decorative device. cardboard on reverse is very worn with slight tears. Date: Undated.
